How our shower filter can protect you from waterborne diseases
Showers are a natural breeding ground for Legionella bacteria because they are prone to bacterial colonisation and scale formation. In addition, because they produce aerosols, they can also contribute to the spread of diseases.
An AquaCert Legionella shower filter works by trapping Legionella bacteria in the showerhead and preventing them from reaching the user. Our Legionella filters offer reliable and immediate protection – capturing anything larger than 0.15 microns that’s 500 times smaller than a strand of hair or a grain of salt. This means no bacteria can escape the filter. When to replace your shower filter

Our Shower Safe unit features a perfectly serviceable filter housing. They are reusable, so they are environmentally friendly too. You will not need to replace the entire showerhead, just the filter. The replacement filters feature highly consistent holes in the membrane material to effectively capture organic and inorganic contaminants without reducing the water flow.
